This photo of Danda was taken after a week in the islands. Alexis had just arrived and we were in the midst of a family reunion. Happy times .I am so very grateful to all the bloggers and the followers who gave Alessandra such a morale boost during the difficult moments.

ReplyDeleteMy heart and mind are with you and I'm so deeply sorry for what has happened. You must be very proud of your babies, Alessandra for being such a wonderful spirit and a fighter until the end and Chiara for being everything she needed to be and more in the past year and a half. All my love to you both, Chiara, Julian and especially to baby James. He is lucky to have you all. I came across this which made me smile between tears and think of you: •God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered "come to me." With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

Danda was truly a special spirit, who will live on in the hearts of all the people she touched... her beautiful, love-filled smiles will definitely be with me till the end of time. My love goes out to all of you, and Chiara,sweetie... you know I love you and wish I could be there with you right now, to give you a big hug and ruffle your hair a little and give you as much TLC you need...
