As they say in the West Indian venacular "She reach", which is the distillation of the following piece of information - the ALESSANDRA dropped anchor at the St. Thomas Yacht Club on August 8, 2009 at approximately 6:30 pm. Yacht and crew were deemed elated but exhausted. 3-hour watches, on and off, for over a week tend to make one appreciate 400 count linens, a soft mattress and a stable environment, not to mention a full repast that doesn't involve Dinty Moore stew, P,B & J and endless cups of coffee. Pictures of the arrival will be posted soon. Meanwhile, it would seem that Alessandra vertical and Alessandra horizontal are enjoying respite from long and challenging voyages. Sunshine all around!
