A New Friend.....

Danda....You may recall visiting with Eric & Ingrid Zucker and me on St. John in an unfinished bunker on top of a hill at the end of the world.  Since your visit, they've had another daughter.  Their names are Amelie (will be 3 May 3) and Zia (will be 1 on May 30).  I think the A-Z is telling us something.  ..  Can't remember whether it came up at lunch that I had worked for your grandmother, Betty Smith, at Island Interiors way back when I was much younger than you are today.  It was my job to guard the petty cash box from your mother, aunt Lisa, uncle Geoffrey and grandfather - no easy task.  As the years rolled by, Betty came down with breast cancer and went through her own trials.  BUT, you have her genes and she ended up enjoying life to a ripe old age.  Keep that in mind during those "down" days.  Will try to upload some pix of the St. Johnians and their house to show you its growth, albeit at an island pace....marilynmackay
